About me
I’m the Head of Payments Department at Taxus Law & Finance. I help product companies, fintech projects, and e-commerce teams build payment infrastructure end-to-end: from selecting providers and opening corporate accounts (bank/EMI) to aligning KYC/AML and going live in target jurisdictions.
Focus: EMI/PSP onboarding and merchant acquiring, payout networks across the EU and the United Kingdom, KYC/AML requirements, operational processes (contracts, payment routing, AML policies), and APM/Open Banking integrations.
Professional Path. I have a legal background and extensive experience in corporate and commercial law, which enables me to effectively navigate regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks in the financial sector. My transition into payments was driven by a focus on business operations, risk management, and the need for reliable financial solutions for international clients.
Mission & Vision. I aim to make payment infrastructure accessible, transparent, and efficient for every client.

FAQs
Q: EMI vs bank for EU payouts — what’s the KYC delta?
A: EMIs usually onboard faster and are more flexible on geography and business models; banks are stricter on substance, directors, and source-of-funds. For higher-risk verticals we often start with an EMI and add a bank at a more mature stage. See our Banking & Payments section.
Q: What does the process of selecting an individual payment solution include?
A: Before selecting a payment provider, we carry out a preliminary assessment based on a short questionnaire about your business model and service requirements. We compare this information with offers from our payment partners and obtain several tailored proposals suited to your business type.
